The thought of setting up a Glamorous Camping business providing high quality traditional canvas tent accommodation for holidays in Pembrokeshire, festivals throughout the UK, coupled with providing something special for weddings and parties in the way of a tented village around a central yurt or marquee, started on a starry night under a Bedouin tent on an Indian beach many years ago. Putting everything in place, compiling business plans after business plans, cash flow forecasts, working out logistics and mainly generating the finances have taken a long time. However finally after many hours of scouring the net, generating business relationships and studying marketing trends gathering lots and lots or tents, including bell tents from many different suppliers, tipis from a lovely helpful supplier, yurts from a master craftsman, and finally a top quality traditional marquee from a recognised British supplier we are finally there.  The website is due to go live and we can’t wait to see it go live, we have kept everything under wraps waiting for this moment, worried that someone would begin doing what we do, where we do it.

So why a tent business, well simply it’s what we do, it’s what we do best we have spent our lives travelling and sleeping in all manner of tents in all sorts of places, it is the one thing we enjoy doing and we want everyone to experience what we feel. There is something really special about sitting around a campsite chatting with your friends or sitting inside the shade of a bell tent on a hot day with the sides rolled up, reading a book and feeling a cool breeze wash over you. The feeling you get waking in the morning under canvas or going to sleep at night, snug in your sleeping bag, having spent the evening in good company watching shooting stars and taking the time away from the tv to get to know your family and friends. Someone quite wise once said any fool can camp but it takes intelligence to camp in luxury. Well we can provide you with everything you need to make your camping experience as luxurious as it gets, all pre erected ready for you to enjoy, and you don’t even have to worry about taking it down, we come and do that for you to.

So here we are our first blog, we plan to update our blog weekly with what’s going on, events we will be attending, news, introducing camping kit which we think is ace or is especially cool and fits in with our glamping range, we will be providing tips on camping, whether it be wild camping, festival camping, campsite camping or tips on providing an inspiring wedding to be remembered by all and be the envy of all your friends. We will also be providing news on special offer we have running as well as competitions to win breaks away in one of our lovely bell tents in an area voted by National Geographic as the second best coastal destination in the world, Pembrokeshire.
