Kayaking in Pembrokeshire

Pembrokeshire is an ace place to come and try glamping in one of our tipis, yurts or bell tents but it is also very well known as a mecca for kayaking so why not try the both whilst you’re here. Pembrokeshire is a kayakers dream with miles and miles of coastlines with spectacular cliffs, caves islands, and estuaries to explore, coupled with amazing wildlife, marine life there plenty to keep every sea kayakers happy. For the surf kayaker there is some of the best breaks in the UK with stacks of surf beaches to choose from and play boaters have one of the premier spots in the UK to bust some moves on, the bitches, though getting to it across Ramsey Sound can be a sketchy business in itself, the ferry glide back avoiding horse rock and the bitches themselves are only recommend for very experienced paddlers, and even then should be accompanied with a local qualified guide as these waters suffer no fools.  Dropping onto the main wave on the bitches is like nothing else in the UK, surf the wave as you watch the sea weed flow below you boat, it’s a wonderful experience, watch it though as a roll here will put you a good way down the sound before you come up and a hard paddle back up and into the eddy, but what a place to practice you moves, awesome. Check out this guide to the bitches http://www.the-bitches.co.uk/index.html to see what you are missing out on.
