Visitor Attractions in Pembrokeshire

If you love camping and are staying in one of our bell tents, tipis and yurts wondering how we as a race made the transition from portable to permanent structures, well Pembrokeshires re-enacted iron age hill fort could well give you some of the answers.

http://www.pembrokeshirecoast.org.uk/default.asp?PID=397 this place is great what an awesome reconstruction of how we used to live. On the site of a 2400 year old hill fort these recreated and full size Iron Age round houses of Castell Henllys, nestled in the midst of Pembrokeshire national park are a must, you are welcome to join a tour or wonder round the several reconstructed round houses yourself. When no one else is around and you sit in one of the roundhouses with a fire crackling at the side of you it easy to imagine what life must have been like and how complicated we have made it today. For those of you with an interest in yurts etc. you may notice the similarities in construction, they sell great ice cream too, don’t leave without trying it.
So thanks for reading our latest blog, we plan to update our blog weekly with what’s going on, events we will be attending, news, introducing camping kit which we think is ace or is especially cool and fits in with our glamping range, we will be providing tips on camping, whether it be wild camping, festival camping, campsite camping or tips on providing an inspiring wedding to be remembered by all and be the envy of all your friends. We will also be providing news on special offer we have running as well as competitions to win breaks away in one of our lovely bell tents in an area voted by National Geographic as the second best coastal destination in the world, Pembrokeshire. Remember you can also follow us at www.cariadcanvas.co.uk, on facebook page and on our twitter page, bye for now enjoy.....
